How many years have you been in business?

We have been in business for 29 years!

What services do you offer?

We offer a wide array of cleaning services. 24-hour emergency water damage service is a primary part of our business. Unlike our counterparts in the business, we also assist with the reconstruction of the property after the water loss. We are also Certified Mold Remediation specialists. In addition to water restoration and mold remediation, we are well known for carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney cleaning, carpet stretching & repairs, tile & grout cleaning, and fine rug cleaning.

How many employees do you employ?

Sooner Cleaning + Restoration has 12 employees along with subcontractors

What’s an interesting fact about your business or you that most people don’t know?

My husband and I played in The Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band. Two of our employees have been with the company over 15 years.

Do you have any advice for new business owners?

Work hard. Harder than you think you are capable of working. Listen to other business owners, absorb everything they have to say and then commit the best ideas to memory.

Why are you a Chamber member?

We believe in supporting our community. Owning a business can be tough and people need to support one another as they create and maintain a thriving business. When you’re not working, where do you like to spend your time? We enjoy a wide variety of people and places. Spending time with our family and friends is most important. Hopefully, that takes us to some fun places along the way.

Tell us about your family!

Jim and I have been married 28 years and we have three sons. Our two oldest sons, Brian and Sam, work for the company. Our son Wyatt is in 7 th grade.

What hobbies do you enjoy?

Jim is a life-long deer hunter and fisherman. Carrie enjoys playing golf. We are also committed Sooner and Steelers fans.
