Another successful Newcastle Chamber Day at the Capitol has come to a close. We always have a great time engaging with and listening to our Legislative Leaders and Advocacy Representatives. Yesterday we heard from Senator Kendal Sacchieri, House Rep Jonathan Wilk, House Rep Brad Boles, Emily Crouch, Sr. VP of Government Affairs from the State Chamber of Oklahoma, Shawn Davis from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, John George, The Fraternal Order of Police, Tony Morgan of the OKC Fire Fighters Association, Curt Roggow, Wind Energy in Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Auditor Cindy Bird, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Cyndi Munson, Oklahoma United Consultant and Former Senator AJ Griffin on open primaries, voting stats, and more. We want to give a huge thank you to Jessica Garvin, Newcastle Chamber Member and former Senator as our host and breakfast sponsor and Tonya Lee Consulting as our lunch sponsor. Tactical Pest Solutions treated their employees to an appreciation lunch provided by Pioneer Telephone Coop - Newcastle. Tactical won this fun auction item donated by Pioneer Coop at our Banquet last year and Madalyn and I stopped by to lend a hand with the cookout. Both of these companies treat their employees like family and it shows. The camaraderie and fun they were all having was fun to watch! #strongerbusinesstogether
