What a wonderful day at the Oklahoma State Capitol representing McClain County! The Newcastle OK Chamber, Blanchard Chamber of Commerce, and Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce were hosted by Kendal Sacchieri for Oklahoma State Senate and Wilk for State House HD 20 for our McClain County Day at the Capitol. It was a meaningful opportunity for local business leaders and community members to connect with legislators, hear important legislative updates, and strengthen relationships that support the growth and success of our communities. A heartfelt thank you to House Representative Jonathan Wilk for sponsoring breakfast and for supporting local Chamber businesses, Flying Java Coffee and Came's Tacos y Más. Thank you also to Senator Kendal Sacchieri for generously sponsoring lunch for our attendees. We truly appreciate the guest speakers who shared valuable legislative updates and insight throughout the day. We realize this is a really busy time at the Capitol. Special thanks to Jen Lembrecht and Kaye Beach for their assistance in helping coordinate and set up this successful event. Most importantly, thank you to all of our chamber members and community partners who attended and represented McClain County so well. We all got to take a guided tour and see the beautiful artwork and hear the history of the Capitol from our guide, Amelia.
