The Newcastle Public Schools includes high school campus (grades 9-12), middle school (grades 6-8) and elementary school (grades pre-K-5). The ratio of students to teachers is 17.12/1. Average experience of the teaching staff is 16 years.

Newcasle Public Schools offers pre-K through 12th grade. Encompassing 73 +/- square miles and with a student population of about 1,485, the system is the second largest in the county. Through the years, the district has maintained a tradition of high student achievement, outstanding instruction, and strong community support.
