A Fair in the Park

The community, businesses and exhibitors alike come together to celebrate the wonders of Spring in this community event. Expanding on the already ever popular City Wide Garage Sales on the same weekend, this event is built to intice the public to spend more time in town by enjoying not only the wonderful garage sale deals but sidewalk sales, live entertainment, arts & crafts exhibitors and more.

The City Wide Garage Sales is the Chamber encouraging the habit of buying, selling and donating pre-owned items to raise awareness of the importance of reuse. Reuse keeps items out of the landfill, increases their useful life and reduces the problems associated with resource extraction and processing. Recycling is good, but reuse is even better! Bargain hunters from all over the Oklahoma City Metro and as far away as Texas come to Newcastle to pick through the sales. Garage Sales are a great way to help your community and the environment.

Newcastle residents are not required to purchase a permit from the City of Newcastle on this weekend. All residents need to do is call the Chamber to be added to the listing (See below schedule). Listings are provided the Thursday before the beginning day of the sales at area convenience stores and City Hall.
